Pashinyan hosted the Olympic team and spoke about development plans
Pashinyan: no gold, but we are satisfied with the performance, considering the overall atmosphere. Let's quickly summarize the results and begin the preparations for the next Olympics.
Although today we have a developed professional sport, the problem is it's not on a mass scale and there is a lack of infrastructure and interest towards it. We are already developing specific programs here, and will start implementing them in the near future. We need the assistance of our professional athletes in this effort.
This was independent Armenia's 7th participation in the Olympics, and the 3rd in terms of medal quality. We need efforts to improve it.
