a big fight in Parliament

Earlier QP passed a bill to allow prosecutors to get suspect's family's banking info to investigate property embezzlements (many former officials laundered stolen property under family names). LHK opposed the bill, citing privacy and business trust reasons.

Today a QP MP blasted the LHK critics for "misleading" the public by presenting the bill as "omg the government is coming after your bank". The QP MP called LHK critics either dumb or crooked. "Your irresponsible fear-mongering can result in people pulling funds from banks, which could cause financial instability."

--

LHK boss Edmon responded to QP MP with a hot speech and condemned the use of the word "crooked". A verbal exchange began between LHK Edmon and the seated QP MPs.

QP Sasun told LHK Edmon "hey uncle, listen". LHK Edmon responded negatively. A verbal bolola began. QP Sasun said something along the lines of "I'll break your head" while trying to grab a plastic water bottle. LHK Edmon left the podium and walked towards QP Sasun. The latter also left his seat and moved forward.

The two met. QP Sasun threw an [unsuccessful?] slap. The whole room went berserk for a minute with pushing and pulling.

"Does this building even have any security guards?" yelled Speaker Mirzoyan.

--

LHK Edmon went to continue his speech and told QP "you can't silence me". It caused another verbal battle with QP. Parliament Speaker suspended the session. Pashinyan went to meet LHK.

--

QP MP: on this day of Victory, it's pretty low for "classic" LHK to provoke Artsakh War veteran QP Sasun. This was a pre-planned show. It began when LHK gave a speech and called others hysterical.

Human Rights Ombudsman: be nice, kids. Watch your profanity.

Various NGOs responded: despite Pashinyan's repeated calls for peace, some MPs chose violence. We condemn QP Sasun for throwing the first punch. There needs to be an ethics hearing.

Prosecutors: we are watching the tapes.

--

Session resumed. LHK Edmon continued his speech: this was an unprecedented blow to democracy and revolution's values. There must be a political response to this.

QP leader Lilith: LHK lost its mind after we passed the Asset Forfeiture bill. Since then, LHK Edmon became erratic and used a gender-slur against the deputy-speaker, followed by clashes outside of Parliament. Now they brought those clashes into Parliament. Perhaps LHK has ties to laundered property and is afraid of that bill.

PM Pashinyan: physical and psychological violence is bad. Today, you'll see rape and murder threats against female QP MPs, fake news against our MPs. The purpose is to break us. I had a coffee with LHK Edmon yesterday and I told him that I believe he is part of those attackers... Why did LHK Edmon leave the podium and charge towards QP Sasun? Even if we assume QP Sasun stood up too, is it possible he was trying to leave the room? Today our team is routinely attacked by Roboserj members and their political servants [LHK] in the Parliament. Go watch Edmon's speeches against HHK, and compare it to speeches against us.

LHK Edmon: Regarding possible resignations, let's wait for political developments expected from a democratic system.... QP passed a hate speech bill yet their MP threatens with violence..... I told Pashinyan over a coffee yesterday that we - not Roboserj -are going to be the next government. Maybe QP didn't take it lightly.

a MASSIVE non-scandalous event in Parliament

QP Alen started a speech that appeared to be yet another bolola, but turned it into a surprise. He gave a bunch of red roses to BHK Naira. It's her birthday.

Former Premiers ask the court to free Kocharyan

Former HHK PM Karen Karapetyan, former HHK PM Khosrov Harutyunyan, former PM-turned-Roboserj Vazgen Manukyan, former Artsakh PM Anushavan Danielyan went to court and vouched for Kocharyan's release pre-trial.

The judge: former PMs, you must pay 500,000 AMD each and guarantee Robik will behave. If you fail, that's a felony case against you. Those are the rules.

Former PMs: we got it. [signed]

--

Kocharyan lawyer about reasons to release him: Robik was free for a while pre-trial, during which he behaved properly. It's safe to release him... Last time when we brought high-ranking officials to vouch for him, the court agreed to release him. Do it again... Since than Robik's health has deteriorated...

Prosecutors about not releasing him: ackchyually, the reasons to keep him jailed have increased. Robik's allies tried to bribe some March 1st victims [on tape] to withdraw their claims... Appeals Court overturned a previous decision that freed Robik after former officials' petitions... There is no international document saying elder inmates must be released due to COVID without considering why they're jailed... The defense keeps lying about the reason why trials are delayed. They are the ones who delay it, with erratic behavior.

--

Robik to judge: the jail staff does wear masks, but the facility doesn't have air ventilation.

March 1st victim's father to Robik: you served as president for 10 years. You should have renovated the jails.

The verdict is on May 13th.

Komandos recalls the Shushi liberation

Arkadi "Komandos" Ter-Tadevosyan:

After we suppressed the Azeri military in Khojalu, they became active in Shushi. They were bombarding capital Stepanakert and surrounding settlements. We were suffering civilian losses. It was clear Shushi had to be taken. It would also connect us to Armenia through the Lachin corridor.

We were greatly outgunned (~2x). Azeris had 4 T-72 tanks, 9 HMM, 12 other vehicles, 2 GRAD, a few dozen artilleries.

3,000 soldiers attacked from 4 locations. The first objective was to take the northern hills, then the East. Then the tallest points, so we could oversee the Lachin road so Azeris couldn't regroup.

It took 26 hours to clean up Shushi.

Azeris got mad and retaliated with Su-25 and Mi-24 airstrikes. To distract us, they attacked Martuni villages. They failed. We advanced towards Lachin and connected it to Goris, Armenia.

File and pay taxes online

From now on, you can file taxes and use a bank card to pay your taxes on the IRS website, without having to visit a location, all thanks to COVID forcing govt to drag its a** and do something about it.

The IRS website saves your details so you won't have to re-enter data. "It eliminates delays by eliminating typos associated with traditional paperwork."
