In 2016, Vanadzor municipality employees dedicated money for road repairs. Lori police says they abused their powers, didn't conduct pre-repair examinations, and laid out a poor quality asphalt, causing significant damage to public resources.
The same year, the municipality employees organized a phony auction, during which they chose supposedly a 71mln job offering by a company. Shortly afterwards, they signed a repair contract with it worth 84mln. Afterwards, they violated the law at the request of a district manager and paid the company 17mln more than stated by the contract, says the police.
A felony investigation is launched.

Armenian Army says they have foiled the ongoing Azeri attempts since last winter to strengthen their positions in several areas on Nakhijevan border. Both sides constantly try to move their positions forward at the expense of the no-man's land. In the latest attempt, due to Armenian side opening a preventative fire, Azerbaijan was unable to supply the materials necessary for creating the new positions.

London's Arsenal has arrived in Baku for the May 29th Europea Leage final match against London's Chelsea. Henrikh Mkhitaryan's sister Monica says his brother knows what he is talking about when he said traveling to Baku isn't safe for him.
UEFA boss says there is no need to move the final from Baku to elsewhere. Says they would never be able to organize games if such tensions held them back. Compares the Baku situation with an earlier situation in France when they held games in France while the country was going through waves of terririrst attacks. (this will surely calm the already mad fans mate)

TLDR: Azerbaijan has oil, buys popularity, is a dictatorship, violates human rights, is a racist country that bans people for their last names, gave a title of a hero to a soldier who killed a sleeping Armenian colleague with an ax, should not be allowed to participate in such sports events just like South Africa was banned during Apartheid, Karabakh will soon host European CONIFA Foodball Championship 2019 (unrecognized republics championship). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_CONIFA_European_Football_Cup
