For what it's worth, I agree. Stalin should be there, if for nothing else, for his assigning of BOTH Artsakh and Nachijevan to Azerbaijan AND for the draining of Sevan for his own interests. Not to mention countless other reasons... (just my 2 cents) Hovik 19:21, 23 July 2007 (PDT)

Genocide evaders

I think "genocide evaders" works better as a name than "individuals circumventing the word 'genocide'" (too long) and "genocide weasels" (too strong especially when used against US Presidents). The idea is that they would be "evading" the word "genocide". Though I suppose that even this could be potentially problematic because "genocide evaders" could imply "evading genocide" as if to allude to individuals like Ratko Mladić or Radovan Karadžić who are hiding in order to escape war crimes trials in The Hague. Well I certainly wouldn't flinch from calling a president a weasel, if he doesn't flinch from diminishing the genocide. I just don't know if "Genocide weasels" would mean much to a reader. G-word weasels, perhaps? "A category of people who do not deny the genocide, or any of the facts, but insist on avoiding saying the g-word (genocide) in order not to offend the Turkish state." Re:Turkish spelling

I figure that if Wikipedia uses Turkish spellings, we should use them as well. I won't change any further spellings, though. BTW, didn't Ter-Petrosian pander to Azerbaijan's interests as well as (if not more than) Turkey's by working on a solution to Karabakh "within the framework of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity"? DETAIL DESCRIPTION: 10 - 12 students, selected in competition, will be trained to assume news and management positions at newspapers, news agencies, broadcast outlets and Web-based publications. Instruction will be provided by American, European and Caucasian journalists and scholars. The journalism faculty and curriculum for the school are provided by the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), a Washington-based journalism organization, with the cooperation from Louisiana State University and Kent State University. The program is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

The curriculum is based on a hands-on, experiential approach, using the latest techniques of fact-based, professional reporting and writing for both print and broadcast media. Students have access to a computer laboratory, the Internet, photo, audio and video equipment and a journalism library. The students publish "PatUhan" student newspaper and its web version.

Graduates of ASJ will receive MA degree diploma from Journalism Department of YSU and an internationally recognized certificate from ICFJ. The program will be offered in four semesters from September 2007 to May 2009. The best students will be given opportunity to have internship in outstanding media outlets abroad.

Raffi sometimes I protect articles that I feel do not need additions or are articles that don't need any editing. I do this because I am concerned maybe in a few years I move on and don't edit this site, I don't want others ruining the articles, there valuable and it is history in the making. Or again, they are articles that don't need editing but obviously admins can edit them or users can use the talkpage so no big deal. Info on your site

Im from a creative arts and film school in South Africa and we are producing a film of the Armenian genocide. Its from a christian perspective encouraging the confession of the genocide as well as forgiveness and reconciliation between muslim turks and christian armenians.

I would like to ask your permission to use your various materials for research to write our script. If we are interested in using any material eg photos for the shooting of the film we will first ask your permission. A question

Dear Mr. Kojian,

I was wondering if you had any knowledge of a craigslist-type website for Armenians. At the moment, I find myself in want of a part-time job. Preferably I would like to work for an Armenian jeweler in the City of Glendale, California. However, I have no way of contacting with such businesses. And apparently, such businesses have no way of advertising their position openings.

Perhaps you know of an Armenian portal that people can create personal ads in? If not, maybe you will consider creating such a portal as an addition to the Armeniapedia website?
