New Joulfa

New Joulfa is located in the outskirts of Esfahan, Iran. In the beginning of the 17th century, over 150 000 Armenians were moved there by force from Joulfa in Nakhichevan. New Joulfa is still an Armenian populated area with an Armenian school and an Armenian church.
