Intellectual freedom and cultural patrimony is questioned and threatened when a for-profit agency claims to be the "official" voice of a cultural treasure or claims to represent it as its sole authority, or "best", etc. The duduk is treasured by many people and held close to the hearts and ears of the Armenian people in particular. A capitalistic or for-profit agency is not, and should not be the source of quality information, or "official" resource, concerning a culturally significant item.
