Stepanakert Secondary School N7

A NEW SCHOOL WITH A HISTORY OF 40 YEARS

Since yesterday the history of secondary school N7 of Stepanakert continues in a new compound. The school has 28 classrooms, a gym and is designed for 600 pupils. The school was reconstructed thanks to Luis Simon Manukian who was granted Honored Citizen of Stepanakert by the city's mayor last year.

NKR President Arkady Ghukasian hailed Luis Simon Manukian at the opening ceremony as the first benefactor of Stepanakert and emphasized that her work should be appreciated. Ghukasian also informed that since Karabakh's independence more money was spent on reconstruction of educational establishments than during the same period in Soviet era. The number of reconstructed school building during the region's independence amounts to 100.
