Simon Ter-Petrosyan is better known by his revolutionary name, Kamo. Lived 1872-1922

Abutting the north side of Freedom Square in Tbilisi is a small open space with a fountain. Buried between the bust of Pushkin and the fountain is Kamo. His grave has been paved over and is no longer marked.

In Soviet times, the city of Gavar was named after him.
