When the Dynamics, a band in Addis Ababa was dissolved, Varoujean started a new band called the "Rmen". The original group was made up of Vartan Djerrahian (lead guitar), Berj Behesnilian (rhythm guitar) and Varoujean Tilbian on the drums. Soon after, we had a bass player from South Africa and was replaced by Yaya who was half-Indian, half-Italian. The band was dissolved in 1969.
