Odet Tsaturyan

Odet Tsaturyan was an Armenian living in California, Glendale area.

On 09 September 2005, Tsaturyan, by then 24 years old, was found dead in the trunk of her boyfriend's car in Azusa.

Her car Honda Accord was found on 13 September 2005 by a patrolling Glendale police officer at 4 p.m. in the 600 block of Paula Avenue near the Walt Disney Imagineering buildings. No such incident was recorded in that neighborhood for decade before that. Tsaturyan's missing boyfriend, Artur Khanzadyan, by then 24, was considered only a "person of interest" and suspect in the case.

Khanzadyan and Tsaturyan both left their parents' homes on Sept. 6 and were reported missing. Tsaturyan never arrived at a party where she was expected that evening.

According to Tsaturyan's family Khanzadyan had been violent with her, and they tried to keep her away from him.

By then Khanzadyan's father issued a plea for his son to turn himself in, saying his son is not violent. Khanzadyan had no criminal record, before that.
