Village near Yerevan, Armenia. Also the site of the Musa Ler Memorial and Museum Settled by Armenians from Musa Dagh/Musa Ler in today's southernmost point of Turkey's Med. coast.

Annual celebration of the rescue of the Armenians of this mountain from the Turks after fierce resistance during the Armenian Genocide is held, in which free Harisa is given to everyone in attendance. The resistance was made famous by the novel, The Forty Days of Musa Dagh.
