Ludwig Manukian

Born and raised in a suburb of Los Angeles, Ludwig's mind and spirit gravitated towards performance at an early age. His father, an amazing story-teller, mother, a special beauty, and brother, a spectacular mind, became fodder for his creative expression. After many years of strict dedication to the stage, starring in several productions in Southern California, Ludwig turned his efforts towards film and television. His role as Armenian-mob boss Ellis Rezian on the FX hit drama series "The Shield" garnered much praise and became a stepping stone to future projects. With appearances on many hit television shows and films, Ludwig, along with partners Tilda Del Toro and Scott Tejerian, in January 2008 created Other Eye Films, an independent production company dedicated to telling stories from unique points of view. As an actor, writer, director, and producer, Ludwig is constantly challenging himself by searching for truth in the human experience.

Has an older brother named Pierre.

Went to college at Cal Poly University in Pomona, California.
