Julia Hakobyan

ArmeniaNow Reporter
Graduated in Philology at one of Yerevan’s private universities. After working for six months at the Armenian Red Cross, she joined the information service at the Permanent Representation of Nagorno Karabakh in Armenia.

Julia began working as a correspondent for CNN World Report in 1997. During the next three years, she made more than 100 reports about Armenia. She joined ArmeniaWeek in April, 2001, moving to ArmeniaNow in July.

Julia is married and keen on drawing, traveling, applied art and making ichibanas.
