Jeffrey Tufenkian
Jeffrey Tufenkian, born and raised in the United States, has a BA in Humanities and extensive experience in advocacy for environmental and other issues including project management, campaign management, media advocacy, as well as initiating several environmental protection organizations in the U.S. and more recently in Armenia where he now lives. Jeffrey, raised in the wooded state of Oregon, has had a long affinity for the natural environment. He is the president of Armenian Forests NGO focusing on restoring and protecting the vanishing forests of the country and, together with Carine Bachmann, is the co-author of the Kanach Eco-Adventure Series book Adventure Armenia: Hiking and Rock Climbing.
He was a participant of the Armenians and the Left conference held in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 31, 2007.
