Jacqueline Chooljian
Jacqueline Chooljian is a judge.
She received her B.A. degree (magna cum laude) from UCLA in 1982, and her J.D. degree from USC, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.
Judge Chooljian was an Assistant United States Attorney and Special Counsel to the US Attorney for the Central District of California.
While with the US Attorney's Office, she served in a number of important positions, including Chief of the Criminal Division.
Chooljian has received the Director's Award for Superior Performance from the U.S. Department of Justice, and commendations from the U.S. Attorney General and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. Additionally, she has received awards from the FBI, DEA, and IRS.
Chooljian also has been an associate with the firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
On Jan 6 2006 Chooljian has been appointed by the US District Court for the Central District of California as a United Magistrate Judge to preside over matters in Los Angeles.
