Stories Igor told Emil Sanamyan

Igor Muradyan told me this story once. He was in a cab in Yerevan and they were passing by one of the zillion opposition protests that happened over the years and the cab driver turning to Igor and in typical way complained: "Egh, is this what they call protest now? I remember 1988, I remember Igor Muradyan. Its too bad he passed away."

Another Igor Muradyan story: back in 1989, there was a meeting Karabakh activists organized in Echmiadzin. At the end when everyone left, this big guy was idling by the door, apparently too shy to start a conversation. Igor approached him. The guy told him his story, that he's got some criminal record and wasn't sure if he would be accepted as a fedayee. So began the story of Manvel Grigoryan.
