Born on May 10, 1899 in Nakhichevan-on-Don (now Rostov-on-Don).
In 1919 - began his theatrical activities in the Rostov Russian Theater. Since 1920 - acted as a director, actor of drama and operetta on the stages of Rostov, Krasnodar, Kharkov, Stavropol, Armavir, Tbilisi, Baku, Yerevan, etc.
Founder of the operetta in Rostov-on-Don (1922) and Yerevan (1942). The husband of actress Isabella Danzas (Kozodian).
He died on March 22, 1977 in Yerevan.
