Grigor Margaryan
File:Grigor MARGARYAN.jpg Grigor Margaryan was born on April 7, 1964 in Yerevan.
Mr. Margaryan graduated with a degree in law from Yerevan State University in 1986.
From 1979-1981 he worked as a designer in the Taterahushanver factory. For the next three years he was the personnel inspector at the Erebuni Scientific and Industrial Complex. From 1990-1991 he worked as a legal advisor in the Gor Production Cooperative Company. From 1991-1993 he was the head of a production unit in the Knitted Wear factory for the Deaf # 1. From 1993-1995 he was the trade representative of the RA Ministry of Industry in Iran and also Chief Specialist in Foreign Relations. From 1998-2003 he was the president of the board of the Noubarashen Poultry Factory OJSC.
On May 25, 2003 he was elected to the NA from electoral district # 13. From June 2003 to September 2004 he was serving on the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs. Currently he sits on the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs. He is also a member of both the Rule of Law Faction and party.
Mr. Margaryan is married and has one child.
