Erukhan (1870-1915) who was characterized as a short story writer and novelist of the Realistic School of writers. "Erukhan", he explained, "with an exceptionally eloquent use of Western Armenian, presents the exposure of characters belonging to two social classes in an environment polluted by greed, selfishness and egoism." Erukhan is best-known for his novel Amirayin Aghchige.
