Community (TV series)

Community is an American comedy television series created by Dan Harmon that aired on NBC and Yahoo! Screen from September 17, 2009, to June 2, 2015.

The show's creator, Dan Harmon got the idea for the show about "Greendale Community College" after attending a Spanish class at Glendale Community College in California, and becoming friends with classmates in his study group. The city of Glendale has the highest percentage of Armenians in the United States, though it's not clear if any of Dan's study group were Armenian. The exterior shots for the TV series are shot at Los Angeles City College, a block south of the Los Angeles/Hollywood neighborhood officially designated as "Little Armenia".

Season 3, Episode 7 - opening scene, Britta calls Jeff who is shopping for clothes while pretending to be sick. He has the store say "Paging Dr. Darpinian" over the speakers to help convince Britta he's really at a hospital and sick.

Season 6, Episode 11 - Frankie Dart asks Jeff Winger, who has an ear piece on, "Why is that in your ear?". He answers, "Uh, I'm raising awareness of Armenian-American stereotypes." Seemingly a reference to Armenians wearing earpieces.
