Hamazkayin presents Ashot Martirosyan
November 4 through November 13
Opening Reception: Friday, November 4, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Hamazkayin Executive and Music Committees are proud to present the paintings of renowned artist Ashot Martirosyan, as well as the works of various Armenian artists, in an exhibition opening on Friday, November 4 at Harvest Gallery in Glendale, California. The exhibition will be on display through Sunday, November 13.

Born in Armenia, Martirosyan is a graduate of Terlemezian Fine Art College and the Yerevan Fine Art Academy. His work has been displayed internationally including in Canada, France, Germany, Lebanon, Russia and Spain with exhibitions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Museum of Modern Art in Armenia.

The mission of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society is to foster, nurture and promote the Armenian language, ethnic identity, rich traditions and intellectual legacy through cultural programming.

This exhibition is part of a series of artistic events highlighting Armenian art and artists while generating greater awareness and increased support for future cultural projects.

Martirosyan's exhibit will be on display from November 4 through November 13, 2005. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
