Aram Sepetjian is Lebanese Armenian writer, publicist and publisher.

Sepetjian is the Director of the "Sipan" publishing house of Beirut.

On November 16 2005 Sepetjian's book, collection of articles, "Actual Meditations" was presented in Yerevan at the Tekeyan Center.

Number of Armenian and Lebanese public and cultural figures participated in the presentation.

The Chief Editor of the "Azg" daily, Hakob Avetikian, mentioned that only a small part of the publicizing contribution is included in the book. Sepetjian touched upon issues of important meaning for Armenians and Lebanese. "Lebanon is the country where the Armenian press, Armenian school and Armenian book developed, and using this opportunity, Sepetjian has had his contribution in the affair of development of the Armenian culture," Avetikian said.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon to Armenia, Gebrael Geara, referred that similar fate unites Armenians and Lebanese: both peoples were victims of Ottoman executioners. "Today numerous Armenians live in Lebanon, and Aram Sepetjian is considered as Lebanese first of all. I have always said and say that the one serves Armenia serves Lebanon as well, and the contrary," the Ambassador emphasized.

Sepetjian vowed to come to Armenia on the occasion of his 70th anniversary, and be present at events dedicated to the 1600th anniversary of invention of the Armenian letters.

Sepetjian mentions that he does his best to visit Armenia often, as both for him and all Diasporan Armenians "Armenia, as a Fatherland, is our only dream, our only pride."

In 2006 third Pan-Armenian Writers' Conference was held in Beirut under the patronage and with the assistance of Aram I Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia and Sepetjian greatly assisted in holding of the conference.

Sepetjian's book "Literary Critical Searches" was published in 2006. The presentation of that book as well was planned to take place in Yerevan.
