Born in 1970 and a proffesional football player (midfielder).
The greatest professional achievment of Alain Boghosian is the FIFA world championship title in France 1998. Youri Djorkaeff, another armenian football player was also participating in the winning team.
In 1999, he won the UEFA cup with Parma against his old club, the Olympique of Marseilles, and also the Italian Cup (two times: 1999 and 2002) and Supercoppa italiana (1999). The Parma is his third Italian destiny, after passing by Naples (1994-1997) and Sampdoria (1997-1998).
He appeared at the 2002 World Cup, and in total made 26 appearances for France, scoring 2 goals.
His career ended in October 2003 due to continuing injuries.
