Tondrak

Tondrak (Թոնդրակ) - a settlement/village in Mets Hayk's Turuberon world's Hunik province (kavar). In old times, it fell into Bitlis state (nahank), in the province (kavar) of Mush. Tondrak is 8 to 9km SW of Manazkert town, on the left l-nalanchi (լ-նալանջի) of the Aradzani. At the start of the 20th century, there were 50 households of Armenians and Turks, and a S Hovhannes Armenian Church. In the 9-11th centuries, Tondrak was one of the notable centers of Armenian political life.
