john is a character. he is a fun person to be around and a good person to talk to. him and shavo are alike in a weird way. i like it. if anyone could crack a joke or be called "the mad armenians" it would have to be those two. take care buddies!

WHOA!

My cousin Obi was helping System of A Down with a rally project (on war and genocide)so I tagged along with them. I was having some problems at the time, so this was a great way to get away from it all.

One night, Daron,Serj and Obi needed to go talk to Rick Rubin (their producer)which left me, Shavo and John on the bus. Shavo had fallen asleep on the couch, so it got pretty quiet. I was sitting on the floor, writing in my journal, when I felt like someone was watching me. John was at the table looking down on me. He smiled at me when I looked up and he said, "you know, it's not all that bad... you're just in the stage of life when you feel like you can do anything..."

I was in shock! He told me he understood everything that was going on with me. my attitude and all that. we sat and talked about it for awhile and really helped me. THANK YOU JOHN!
