Having very large natural habitat in Armenia, this species is met in Armenia very rarely. The only collection of this plant was in 1929. Judging by the absence of collections, this species has disappeared in Armenia.

Grows in salty habitats.

Searches for the new populations should be conducted. Newly found species should be included in the botanical parks.
