Status
Decorative plant. Met in the mountain lakes of Lori Marz, around Stepanavan. Nowadays has almost disappeared.
Habitat in Armenia
Met in the floristic region of Yerevan and Lori.
Habitat and ecology
Grows in the reservoirs with steady or slow-flowing water, on the height of 850 - 1450 meters above sea level.
Biology and potential value
Decorative plant. Some types of leaves are edible.
Measures of protection
Search for new populations of this plant should be continued, the found ones should be preserved.
