Cardiff, October 27, Hakob Tsulikian, Azg (www.azg.am): Municipal council of Cardiff, capital of Wales, officially recognized the Armenian genocide. The municipal council decided to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the ceremonies of "Holocaust Remembering Day" in 2005 and in the coming years.
In the letter addressed to Wales-Armenia Friendship Company by Rodney Berman, a member of Cardiff’s municipal council, affirmed the adopted decision. This is the fist case that one of the Britain’s main cities, Cardiff, adopted the Armenian Genocide, Armenian Mirror Spectator weekly writes in its October 16 issue.
