Pilav, pirindz (Rice pilaf)

Prindzov Pilaf
(Serves 4)
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter
¼ cup thin egg noodles or orzo
1 cup long grain white rice
1 teaspoon salt (you may omit this if you use salted butter)
2 cups chicken broth
Directions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add salt and noodles. Brown noodles then add rice and stir until blended and leave mixture on a low flame.
Heat the broth in a separate sauce pan over medium heat. When it reaches a boil, add to the rice.
Cover saucepan and reduce heat to lowest setting until all the broth has been absorbed; about 25 minutes.
