Status

Very rare species for Armenia. Only two populations are known; both of them are under the danger of disappearing.

Habitat in Armenia

Met in the floristic regions of Sevan and Meghri.

Habitat and ecology

Grows in rocky hills on average heights above sea level.

Biology and potential value

Efficiently reproducing through stump planting. The seeds do not grow if in the result of massive influence of entomological vermin. Produces ethereal oil. Medicinal Plant.

Measures of protection

The natural habitat should be protected, restored and expanded.
