Status

Very rare species. Used to be known in the former Soviet Union from the neighborhood of Lake Gilli (within Lake Sevan). Also met in Ararat Marz.

Habitat in Armenia

Met in the floristic regions of Yerevan and Aparan.

Habitat and ecology

Grows in humid meadow and pools.

Biology and potential value

Has huge scientific interest.

Measures of protection

Full protection of the populations should be made. Reserves should be developed.
