Mnemonic for the Armenian Alphabet à la Dikranagerdtsi


Note: In the Dikranagerdtsi dialect, the third letter of the alphabet , kim, is pronounced kem; the 12th letter, liun, is pronounced loon; the 30th letter, vev, is pronounced viv; the 31st letter, diun, is pronounced doon; the 34th letter, hiun, is pronounced hoon; and the 35th letter, piur, is pronounced poor.

epink kuftǎ (we’ll cook kufta).

tukhmǎre gu chuzzǎ (the child is bawling).
