Status
Disappearing species. Grows in the south-eastern part of Mt. Urts. The small populations in the neighborhood of Surenavan and Armash villages is disappearing.
Habitat in Armenia
Met in the floristic region of Yerevan.
Habitat and ecology
Grows in dry or loamy hills.
Biology and potential value
Natural reproduction is satisfactory. High decorative plant.
Measures of protection
Control over the remaining populations should be made. Should be included in the Botanical Park of Yerevan.
