Status

Very rare species. Known only in Armenia among the former Soviet countries.

Habitat in Armenia

Met in floristic region of Yerevan, between Voghjaberd, Shoraghbyur and Garni.

Habitat and ecology

Grows in dry loamy hill slopes.

Biology and potential value

The whole natural habitat in Armenia has huge scientific interest.

Measures of protection

Included in the newly developed Erebuni reserve, and in the Red Book of the former Soviet Union.
