Status

Rarely met in the former Soviet Union. Only two populations known in Armenia.

Habitat in Armenia

Grows in the floristic regions of Yerevan, and Dareleghis.

Habitat and ecology

Grows on dry rocky hills, on the height of 1200-1500 meters above sea level.

Biology and potential value

High decorative plant. Has huge scientific value. Used in veterinary.

Measures of protection

Partially protected by Khosrov Nature Reserve. Control over the other population should be established.
